Female Sexual Dysfunction
An important component of this course is the submission of an original course project paper encompassing your research and investigation of a topic selected by you which is primary to your understanding and application of the academic information contained in our course syllabus and readings.
Your instructor will guide and approve each student’s choice of topic. In-class presentation topics should not be approved for term project papers unless the instructor sees academic value in such repetition.
Your paper must adhere to the following:
Written in a MS Word document program utilizing spelling and grammar check with all recommended corrections made.
12 point font, double spaced, 1″ margins.
APA paper format including running head, title page, page numbers, and abstract of no more than 120 words.
Appropriate in-text citations and reference list fully formatted to current APA standards. As a guide, minimum citations should approximate one to two references per page.
Your paper should offer an academic introduction, an overview of the existing literature, discussion of your research, discussion of your research findings, and observations and conclusions worthy of graduate school academic consideration.
The approximate length of your paper should be 10 –12 pages. Substantial points (10 – 20%) will be deducted for late papers. 100 points
Two of the references need to be:
1. Handbook of Clinical Sexuality for Mental Health Professional 2nd Edition. By Stephen B. Levine, Candace B. Risen, Stanley E. Althof.
2. Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders 5th Edition (DSM-5)
In addition to the final paper… I also need to turn in:
1. Brief paper outline
2. 4 page draft
